In the first quarter of 2024, the UK's Android platform saw notable performances from the top food and diet tracking applications. Data courtesy of Sensor Tower provides us with an overview of how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner witnessed a significant surge in downloads, peaking at 27K in the last week of March. The app's revenue showed a steady increase throughout the quarter, closing at $1.7M. Weekly active users also saw an upward trend, culminating at 59K.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter maintained strong revenue figures, with the highest at $61K in early February, and ended the quarter with a consistent revenue of around $47K. Downloads showed a slight decline, finishing at 7K, while active users dipped to 128K by the end of March.

Calorie Counter + by Nutracheck also had a notable quarter, with revenues reaching almost $100K in the second week of January and stabilizing at $63K towards the end of March. Downloads decreased over the period, ending at 6.8K, and active users saw a slight drop, concluding the quarter at 52K.

The NHS Weight Loss Plan app, which does not generate revenue, maintained a steady download rate, ending the quarter with around 4.4K downloads. Weekly active users showed slight fluctuations but remained stable, finishing at 14K.

Lastly, Slimming World experienced varied revenue performance, with a notable peak at $12K in early March but ended the quarter with $5.7K. Downloads saw a gradual decline to 2.5K, and the app's weekly active users decreased to 149K by the quarter's end.
